Privacy Policy
What we collect and why
We store your email address, a salted password hash, account identifier, saved reading text, reading usage, moderation outcomes, and subscription status. These support sign-in, your journal, reading limits, abuse prevention, and paid access. We do not collect payment card details; Apple processes purchases.
Palm photos and AI
With your consent, the app checks for a hand on your device, removes photo metadata, and uploads your photo to temporary Cloudflare storage. OpenAI processes the photo to generate an entertainment reading. We do not use palm photos for identity authentication. We delete the temporary object after the analysis request completes, including handled failures. An interrupted upload or request can leave a temporary object until storage cleanup.
OpenAI may retain API data for abuse monitoring under its API data controls. Its retention is separate from deletion in our storage. Do not submit another person's photo without their permission.
Service providers
Cloudflare runs our API and temporary image storage. Neon hosts account and reading records. OpenAI generates readings. Apple handles purchases and TestFlight distribution. Data may be processed outside your country. The app contains no advertising or cross-app tracking SDK.
Retention and your choices
Your account and written readings remain until you delete your account in Profile, then Delete Account. This deletes the account and associated reading, usage, and moderation records from our active database. Infrastructure backups and provider security logs may persist according to those providers' retention policies. The app caches written readings on your device and clears that cache when you sign out or delete your account.
You can stop new photo processing by choosing not to scan, revoke camera access in iOS Settings, and withdraw consent by deleting your account. Deleting the app alone does not delete your account or cancel a subscription. Manage subscriptions through your Apple account.
Age and beta feedback
Destiny Lines is intended for people aged 16 or older. During the TestFlight beta, contact the development team using Send Beta Feedback in TestFlight. Never include passwords or sensitive photos in feedback.
